Hello again folks,
Now that the dust has settled from our transfer, it is time to take a look at where we are and what we need to do. It seems as though we lost several people during the move and we need to shore up our numbers as we move into T4. I am calling on each of you to act as our recruiters, scouring the scenarios and PQs for people you think would be a great fit for The OoD. If you notice someone unguilded and think they would be an asset to our guild, point them to our website or put them in touch with an officer. We do not have level or class requirements. A friendly personality and a good attitude have always been the top things we look for in potential members. So, if you see someone you think has what it takes to fit into our group, let's get them onboard and try to grow our online family.
After many weeks with us spread out over different tiers, it looks like we are starting to get good numbers for folks in t4 (lvl 28+). Now that we have this larger group, we need to start looking at forming OoD raiding groups, scenario groups, and oRvR groups. I am planning on continuing my Wednesday raids (either Gunbad or PQs) and I hope that some of you will take the opportunity to start your own weekly raids. You should all have access to the guild calendar and I encourage everyone to use that or these forums. Keep in mind that we also have a great alliance and many opportunities there to get into some action.
I want to take this chance to welcome a few new members to The OoD. Rugby, Ravnoc, and Voldrath have all joined us recently. They each transferred from other servers and we hope they have found their permanent home with us here. Be sure to say hello when you see them!
I know the last few weeks have been a bit crazy with the transfer. I hope everyone can start to settle in and get back to our normal routine. Personally, I am very excited about getting bunched up again in T4, because the best times I have in this game are always when I am in an OoD group. If anyone has any suggestions, comments, or ideas about how to make our WAR experience better, please post here or contact the officers.
Thanks and have a great week!
